FACILITIES

In our ECE Department, we have more than enough laboratory facilities and have highly trained and skilled Lab Assistants.

• In ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND CIRCUITS Lab, we have well equipped components and more spacious to do the experiments.
• In DIGITAL AND MICROPROCESSOR Lab, standardized kits are available, imported from various reputed companies.
• In MICROWAVE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DESIGN Lab, having established facilities for the students to implement their practical knowledge in designing and communication areas.
• In VLSI, DSP AND NETWORK Lab, corresponding software’s like XILINX, MODEL SIM, PSPICE, MAT LAB and enough 512GB RAM, 18 DISK driver of pc with Latest versions. The students are also encouraged to develop their programming skills other than their lab experiments.

All the labs are more spacious, which can accommodate more than 60 students in same time. We have also provided more facilities to the students to do mini projects so that they can get more knowledge and skill to implement their own creative idea as their course project.

VLSI/ DSP/EMBEDDED LABORATORY


VLSI Design / Digital signal Processing (DSP)/Embedded lab was part of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. Ever since its inscription the VLSI lab has constantly been upgraded to match with the technologies of the modern era. The VLSI/ DSP/Embedded lab helps the students, faculties and all enthusiasts to acquire all the much needed concepts to deal with different practical experiments and research. The focus of this lab is widely spread towards the development of projects in VLSI, Signal Processing Domains and Embedded domains

This lab was equipped with personal Computers installed with most update industry standard VLSI and DSP tools like Xilinx ISE, MATLAB, Tanner EDA and different hardware like Xilinx Spartan Kits, Digital Signal processor kits and other hardware resources.

Facilities:

• This lab is equipped with 25lakhs worth Hardware and Software Components.
• 30 Personal computers with i3 processor and internet facility are available for students and faculty benefit. One HP printer is used for taking the program and output prints.
• Software Tools: Xilinx ISE, Tanner EDA, MATLAB, Lab VIEW, modelsim, VI debugger, keil, flash magic, Impact
• Hardware Kits: 10 FPGA kits and 15 Digital Signal Processors,10 ARM kits, 10 x-bee transmitter kit and receiver kit
• Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzer.

MICROPROCESSOR LABORATORY

Microprocessor Laboratory familiarizes the students with the fundamentals of integrated digital clock circuit known as Microprocessor and Microcontroller. This Lab is equipped with a wide range of Microprocessor and Microcontroller trainer kits, which helps the students to undergo intensive training and provides a deep insight into the world of automation. This laboratory enables and provide platform for the students to familiar with their basic programming skills and automation skill for the preparation of modernized society. The Laboratory is utilized by ECE, EEE, CSE, and IT students.

Facilities

• This lab is equipped with 8085, 8086 Microprocessor and 8051 Microcontroller kits. It also has interfacing kits for interfacing AC motor, DC motor, Stepper motor, Traffic light, Printer Interface, Temperature control, Real time clock, Serial/Parallel Communication Interface.
• Power with software like Ride IDE, MASM

COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (PG) LABORATORY

Communication Systems (PG) Laboratory familiarizes the students with the research of communication and microwave. This Lab is equipped with a wide range of modern devices, which helps the students to undergo intensive training and provides a deep insight into the world of electronics and communication.

Facilities:

• This lab is equipped with major equipment’s like Microwave Integrated Circuit(MIC) trainer , Antenna Trainer kit, Standard Gain Horn with different Bands, GPS Receivers / GPS Kit, Microwave Power meter with sensor, Optical Fiber communication Kit Dual Channel & PC-PC.
• Digitalized with 5 PC for performing simulation experiments.
• Powered with softwares like MAT lab R 2015, NS2.

OPTICAL AND MICROWAVE LABORATORY

Microwave Laboratory Lab familiarizes the students with the basics related to Microwave and Optical Communications. This Lab is equipped with a Microwave Test Benches, Optical Trainer Kits, which helps the students to undergo intensive training and provides a deep insight into High Frequency Communication Systems.
The Students gain practical knowledge about the transmission and reception of signals using various types of microwave antennas. The Laboratory is utilized by VII semester ECE students for Optical & Microwave laboratory.

• This lab is equipped with major equipment’s like Network analyzer, Microwave power meter, Optical power meter, Advanced fiber optic trainer, Digital storage oscilloscope, Microwave bench setups.
