The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DSCET was established in 2004 with the mission to create competent electrical engineers who can meet global technological challenges. The department offers quality education in electrical sciences and technology, preparing students for careers in power systems, electronics, automation, and emerging technologies.

Laboratory Facilities
Power Electronics Laboratory
The Power Electronics Laboratory provides hands-on experience in the study and analysis of power semiconductor devices and converter circuits. Students gain practical knowledge in controlling and converting electrical power for various industrial applications.

Electrical Machines I & II Laboratory
The Electrical Machines Laboratory offers comprehensive training in the operation, characteristics, and performance analysis of various AC and DC machines. Students gain practical exposure to motor-generator sets, transformers, and industrial machine controls.

- 3 HP DC Shunt, Series, Compound Motors with Loading
- 3 HP DC Motor–Generator Sets (Shunt, Series, Compound)
- 3-phase Squirrel Cage & Slip Ring Induction Motors
- 3 HP Synchronous Motor

- 1-phase & 3-phase Transformers
- AC & DC Panel Boards
- 100 Amps Rectifier
Power Systems & Simulation Laboratory
The Power Systems & Simulation Laboratory focuses on the analysis and simulation of power system networks, load flow studies, fault analysis, and protection schemes. Students utilize industry-standard software tools to model and analyze complex power systems.
